This juniper bonsai is made from green wool roving that's been matted down into felt by needle felting techniques. The trunk is a light brown wool felted over a wire to keep the shape of the branches stiff. No hot water is involved in felting, no knitting, sewing, or glue...just a bundle of wool fiber, a specialized felting needle, and a lot of patience.
